Sidharth Malhotra teases an important announcement

After giving a career reviving performance in war drama 'Shershah', actor Sidharth Malhotra is getting several exciting to projects to work in. While he has already been roped in as the lead for Dharma Productions' action franchise 'Yodha', the actor is now all set to be a part of Rohit Shetty's cop universe as well.

Sidharth is all set to play a Delhi cop in a web show set in the cop universe. On Tuesday, he took to Instagram to tease an announcement regarding the same. The actor shared a picture of himself in police uniform standing against a line of police SUVs. He captioned the post as, "Rohit Shetty’s cop universe goes digital tomorrow at 11am! @itsrohitshetty @rohitshettypicturez."

Rohit Shetty's cop universe was initiated with Ajay Devgan's 'Singham' films and it was then expanded by Ranveer Singh's 'Simmba' and Akshay Kumar's 'Sooryavanshi'. It would be interesting to see where Sidharth Malhotra's character fits into all this.

Apart from this one, Sidharth will soon be seen in 'Thank God' and espionage drama 'Mission Majnu'.
