We had already broken the news to you that Simbu finished shooting the first schedule of Gautham Vasudev Menon's upcoming film 'Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu' and the second schedule, which was delayed due to an issue between STR and the TFPC, might take off tomorrow.

Also, the multi-faceted actor will start shooting for Pathu Thala, the Tamil remake of Mufti with director Krishna of Sillunu Oru Kaadhal fame from September 5 as reported by us earlier. Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Teejay Arunachalam, and Manushya Puthiran in pivotal characters in Pathu Thala.

It is already a known fact that the star actor will be featuring in the comedy movie 'Corona Kumar', which is a sequel/spin-off to the 2013 film 'Idharku Thane Aasaipattai Balakumara'. Now, the latest buzz is that STR will begin shooting for Corona Kumar from September 25th. Reportedly, Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi to essay a cameo role by reprising Sumaar Moonji Kumaaru from the original flick. To be directed by Gokul, Vels Film International, the producer of Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu is also bankrolling Corona Kumar.
