Sillukaruppatti wins a new international recognition!

The anthology love story Sillu Karuppatti, which was directed by Poovarasam Peepee fame director Halitha Shameem, has now won an award at the Toronto Tamil International Film Festival and the director herself announced the joyous news on social media.
Halitha Shameem shared the mail copy of her award for Sillukaruppatti and captioned it It’s always a delight to get such mails from film festivals! #Sillukaruppatti.
Released in December 2019, Sillukaruppatti presented four love stories of people from four age groups and starred Samuthirakani, Sunainaa, Manikandan, Nivedhithaa Sathish, Leela Samson, Kravmaga Sreeram, Sara Arjun, and Rahul in lead roles and the movie was distributed by actor Suriya's 2D entertainment and went on to become a critical and commercial success.
