With 'Bharath Ane Nenu' deciding to come on April 20 and 'Na Peru Surya' choosing May 4, the narrative is that Rajinikanth is the unsung beneficiary.

The narrative assumes that Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun aren't acting in their enlightened self-interest, thereby gifting the box office to Rajini on a platter.

Why can't the development be read otherwise? Is it just 'Kaala' which is going to benefit from the new changes? Does it not hold true for both Mahesh and Bunny, too, who now have escaped Rajini's competition? Is it not a rational decision and not about self-defeating "ego clashes" between Mahesh and the Stylish Star as is being made out by some sections of media?
