Actor Silambarasan`s Vaalu` is expected to see the light of day finally on this Friday (July 17) if and only if the Court rules in favor of the film`s release.

While the promotions of the film were briskly started by T.Rajendhar the father of SImbu who purchased the entire distribution rights of the film from its producer Nic Arts Chakravarthy, last week a person claiming to have paid Rs.10 crores for distribution rights of the film in certain states including Tamil Nadu had registered a case against the film`s release without settling his dues.

The Judge who admitted the petition had scheduled the hearing of the case for Today (July 13). Hence it will be evident within a few hours whether the film will release on the announced date or not. The verdict is expected to come at around 4 pm.

This morning, SImbu who is active in Social media has appealed to his fans in Twitter page requesting his fans to pray to the almighty for a favorable verdict from the Court. He has also expressed hope that with god`s grace the film will release on July 17.

Meanwhile, fans of Simbu have already started offering prayers in religious institutions for the smooth release of the film without any further postponement. While Hindu fans offered prayers in a Murugan temple a group of Muslim fans are praying for Vaalu` release during their Ramzan fasting prayers. Christian fans are also reportedly offering prayers for the film`s release.

Simbu has thanked all the fans for their prayers and has said that he is really touched by the fans` affection for him.
