We all know that Simbu is playing the gangster AGR in one of his upcoming films 'Pathu Thala'. The actor resumed shooting for the long-delayed film in the Bellary Palace in Mysore, Karnataka a few days back and he shared a couple of BTS images from the sets which went viral.

The latest we hear is that Silambarasan has completed the Karnataka schedule of 'Pathu Thala'. As per the reports, STR is back in Chennai after wrapping up the Karnataka schedule and the next leg of filming will commence in Chennai after a short break. Directed by Obeli N Krishna, the film is the official remake of the Kannada blockbuster 'Mufti'.

Pathu Thala also stars Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Joe Malloori, Kalaiyarasan, Redin Kingsley and Teejay in prominent roles. Studio Green is bankrolling the movie which has Isai Puyal AR Rahman as the music composer, Farook J Basha as the cinematographer and Praveen KL as the editor.
