The Multifaceted entertainer T. Rajendhar has two sons Simbu and Kuralarasan and a daughter Ilakkiya. The younger son Kuralarasan recently converted to Islam with the blessings of his parents at a mosque in Chennai. It was rumored at the time that the conversion is because he is in love with a Muslim girl.

It is now being reported that the wedding date for Kuralarasan has been set on April 26th and will be a private ceremony with only close family members and friends on both the sides present. TR is expected to announce formally soon. Kural apart from acting as a child artiste in several of his dad's movies made his debut as music composer in 'Idhu Namma Aaalu' starring Simbu and Nayanthara and directed by Pandiraj.
