Simbu has released a video in which he informs that he would be visiting the new Police Commissioner's office located at Egmore to give a petition seeking the release of veteran actor Manzoor Ali Khan who is in custody for the past several days.  The 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' hero has called the veteran actor a secular personality and a staunch Tamizhan and that he would like to question the authorities the reason for detaining him for so long.

Simbu has also put up a request that whoever feel that Manzoor deserves to be released can head to the Egmore Commissioner office at 9 am sharp today April 21st.  Manzoor Ali Khan was arrested when he went to demand the release of Seeman, Bharathiraja and co., who were arrested during the IPL protest.  You can watch Simbu's video here.
