Simbu Devan calls on Pondy CM

Director Simbu Devan called on Pondicherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy and urged him to take action on pirated VCDs of his maiden directorial venture Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi doing rounds in the Union Territory. The Chief Minister assured him to look into the issue.
It may be recalled that international cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan saw Shankar's Imsai Arasan 23-am Pulikesi at a theatre in Chennai recently. Later, Muralitharan met Simbu Devan and was all praise for the film.
Imsai... stars Vadivelu in the lead role and is a historical satire.
