Silambarasan, every one in Kollywood knows, is desperate for success.

The slim-built actor is enduring a rough patch as the last couple of his films have bombed at the box office.

With competition heating up every day, Simbu has to deliver at the earliest.

So naturally he has set much store on Thotti Jaya, one of his forthcoming releases.

Though Manmadhan (another of his ventures) is also ready, Simbu is more serious about Thotti Jaya as it offers him more scope for acting.

The shooting for the film, being produced by Kalaipuli Thanu, is on at full pace. Interestingly, Simbu, son of actor-director T R known for speaking lot on and off the screen, has very few dialogues in the movie.

Kollywood says it is all an inspiration from Chithan's role played by Vikarm in Pithamagan.

Simbu now hopes that success will now speak for him.
