Speculation is swirling in the film industry as reports emerge that Jackie Chan and Mohanlal might be part of Simbu’s upcoming project. If confirmed, this would mark a major international collaboration, positioning the film as a pan-world venture, not just a pan-Indian release.
Currently, Simbu (STR) is committed to three projects. The shooting for STR 49 is expected to commence soon, followed by his 50th film directed by Desingu Periyasamy. Now, new buzz surrounds a high-profile collaboration with director Jude Anthany Joseph, best known for the critically acclaimed Malayalam film 2018.
According to industry sources, this proposed project will feature Simbu, Jackie Chan, and Mohanlal in pivotal roles and is envisioned on a massive scale. However, the film is still in early development and could take two to three years before production begins.
Interestingly, it's said that Simbu met Jackie Chan during a visit to Japan three months ago, where the idea of this collaboration was first discussed. While no official confirmation has been made, the possibility of this powerhouse trio sharing the screen has already ignited massive excitement among fans.
