Simbu's dedication for 'Maanaadu' before coronavirus break surprises cast and crew

Simbu after high drama returned as hero for 'Maanaadu' directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Suresh Kamachi. The shooting started in Chennai on February 19th and went on for many days near the Golden beach and the team recently headed for Hyderabad for a long stint. Unfortunately, all film-related works have been suspended in India till March 31st and the team had to return back to Chennai.

According to the 'Maanaadu' team twelve hours of shooting would have been pending but Simbu worked twenty-four hours on the last day to ensure that the work was completed before returning to Chennai. Once the coronavirus scare dies down and the pandemic is brought under control the shoot will resume.

'Maanaadu' with music score by Yuvan Shankar Raja has the ensemble cast of Simbu, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Bharathiraja, S.A. Chandrasekhar, S.J. Suryah, Premgi Amaran, Arvind Akash, Manoj Bharathiraja and Karunakaran among others.
