Simbu's 'Maanaadu' new shooting start date details

When Simbu's 'Maanaadu' will go on floors is the million-dollar question that is not only on the minds of his loyal fans but also the most debated in social media as well. We have the info from sources close to producer Suresh Kamachi that the shooting will start on January 20th and will go on non-stop till April 10th. Simbu is said to be hitting the gym to get back in shape for the film and as reported by us earlier he is also under abstinence following his proposed visit to the Sabarimala temple soon.

'Maanaadu' is directed by Venkat Prabhu with music score by Yuvan Shankar Raja and Kalyani Priyadarshan as the leading lady. It is unknown as of now whether the stars who allocated dates will be back or there will be any changes. The project was officially announced in June 2018 but never took off from there mainly due to the alleged noncooperation from the hero's side. A few months earlier Suresh Kamachi after waiting for more than a year and a half announced that he is replacing Simbu with another actor.

Since then talks have been held between Simbu's mother representing him and the producer council mediators headed by Sathyajyothi Thiagarajan. It is said that on Sunday the new agreement has been signed and hence the filming after Pongal 2020 is more or less confirmed.
