One of the films that broke language barriers and enjoyed a great run all over is Premam` which is still a reference point amongst youngsters. Alphonse Putheran the director of the film has laid low for more than a year to script his next and now news has started trickling about it.

It is said that the film will be in Tamil and Megastar Mammootty will be doing an important role alongside a Kollywood hero. It may be recalled that a few months back Alphonse met Simbu and had reportedly narrated the script which he loved ALSO READ: Alphonse Puthren Teaming up with Simbu?. Putting two and two together we can assume that it is Simbu who will star alongside Mammootty in this exciting project. However the order of the day is springing surprises and we will know if this electrifying combo materializes only when there is an official announcement which is expected soon.
