Simbu begins next soon!

Actor Simbu was last seen on screen in the family entertainer Vandhaa Rajavathaan Varuven directed by Sundar.C, and following the release of the movie, Simbu had been on a break and had focused on his fitness. Recently, he was spotted in his brother Kuralarasan's wedding and reception.
With his next movie Maanaadu directed by Venkat Prabhu expected to begin soon, the actor is said to be joining shoot of his next movie directed by debutant Narthan from June. This movie is said to be the remake of Kannada hit Mufti that had Shiva Rajkumar and Sri Murali in lead roles.
Produced by Studio Green, it has been said that the first schedule of this untitled movie will begin in Karnataka with Simbu's portions planned to be shot, and later Gautham Karthik will be joining the shoot. The movie revolves around a gangster and an undercover cop played by STR and Gautham Karthik respectively.
