Actor Simbu had last acted in the Sundar C directed Vandhaa Rajavathaan Varuven which was the official Tamil remake of Telugu superhit Attarintiki Daaredhi and is next set to begin shooting for the political entertainer Maanaadu directed by Venkat Prabhu.

The actor had been hitting the gym to gain fitness and recently during his birthday celebrations, the actor was seen in a stylish and fit look stunning his fans. Now, a photo of the actor with his sister Elakkiya's son has turned viral, and fans of Simbu are extremely happy with his handsome changeover.

Maanaadu was announced to be commencing shoot from February 19, by its producer Suresh Kamatchi recently. The movie also stars Kalyani Priyadarshan, SJ Suryah, Bharathiraja, SA Chandrasekaran, Manoj, Karunakaran, Premgi, and has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
