2018 has been a great year for Simbu as he completed his shooting for Mani Ratnam's multistarrer 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' without any blemishes and is now on a signing spree. Only yesterday a film with young director Karthik Naren was confirmed and today the next project after that has also become official.
Director Venkat Prabhu has stated "Yes it’s official!!!! My next is with my brother STR produced by Suresh Kamachi releasing in 2019 tentatively titled 'V9' and it’s a fresh script!! Not a sequel!!!
