Last week, Indiaglitz brought to you that Simbu resumed shooting for one of his upcoming films - 'Pathu Thala', directed by Obeli N Krishna. The movie, also starring Gautham Karthik and Priya Bhavani Shankar, is the official remake of the Kannada blockbuster 'Mufti'.

Today, Silambarasan took to his social media handles to confirm that he is back to work by sharing a couple of BTS images from the 'Pathu Thala' shooting spot. STR is sporting a thick beard look for his role as a gangster AGR in the movie. The movie shoot was resumed in Bellary, Karnataka. Only four weeks of filming are pending for the entire wrap-up.

Produced by Studio Green, 'Pathu Thala' also stars Gautham Karthik and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead roles while Kalaiyarasan, Teejay Redin Kingsley and Joe Malloori play prominent roles. Isai Puyal AR Rahman is composing the musical score and Farook J Basha is handling the camera.
