Silambarasan aka Simbu shares a good rapport with Nic Arts and that’s quite known. The actor who is working on ‘Vettai Mannan’ with the banner has signed one more film, ‘Vaalu’, a comedy caper which will be helmed by newbie Vijay!

Vijay who has worked as an assistant in ‘Sinthanai Sei’ is debuting as a director with this flick. Thaman will be composing the tunes for the project. A hunt is on for STR’s lead lady following which an official announcement will be made by the production house.

‘Vettai Mannan’, a gangster flick is currently on in a full swing and post the April schedule the crew will leave the country to shoot the songs. After the two week schedule the film will be wrapped entirely.

Simbu also has ‘Podaa Podi’, ‘Vada Chennai’ and a few other films in the pipeline. Buzz is that STR will start work on ‘Vaalu’ right after ‘Vettai Mannan’.
