Simbu, one of the most charismatic stars in Tamil cinema is currently in Thailand preparing for his next biggie which will be announced on his birthday, February 3rd. Meanwhile there is good news in his family as his younger sister Elakkiya has given birth to a baby girl.

Elakkiya got married to Hyderabad based businessman Abhilash in 2014 and the couple have a son Jason born in 2017. The proud new mom is elated that its a girl this time and wrote Insta "Life is so full of miracles. Just like our newest family member, A Sweet Baby Girl. My lil angel has arrived. Simbu fans are congratulating her on all social media platforms.

Simbu's next movie 'Pathu Thala' directed by Obeli N Krishna and costarring Gautham Karthik is in postproduction and will release this Summer. The film has music by A.R. Rahman and is produced by Studio Green K. E. Gnanavelraja.
