Director Ashwath Marimuthu has shared details about Simbu's character in the movie 'STR 51'. Following the film 'Dragon', Ashwath Marimuthu will direct Simbu's 51st film. The first look poster sparked various speculations about Simbu's character, which the director addressed in a recent interview.

In the interview, Ashwath Marimuthu clarified, "'God of Love' is not the title but a character in the movie. It is a film that combines what both Simbu fans and cinema lovers expect. The story has elements of fantasy. The ring on Simbu's finger plays a significant role in the movie. I have designed his character with certain flaws and shades of gray."

The production company AGS, which produced 'Dragon', is also producing 'STR 51'. After 'Dragon' is released, the casting for lead actors alongside Simbu will be finalized. The film is scheduled for release during the summer of 2026.
