It is safe to say 2020 has begun on a high note for Simbu after his pilgrimage to Sabarimala and his strict diet and workout regime that has made his body fit again.  The first look of his character in 'Maha' starring Hansika Motwani was released on Thursday and the official announcement on the cast, crew and shooting start date of 'Maanaadu' will come on Pongal day.

Now news from unconfirmed sources is that Simbu is in talks to star in 'Osthi 2' the sequel to his 2011 hit movie directed by Dharani. 

'Osthi' is the remake of Salman Khan's 'Dabangg' which has spawned two sequels and all three films have been multicrore grossers worldwide.  The sources add that it is too early to confirm anything on the sequel as of now.
