We already reported about the angry reaction of Simbu for the jallikattu issue and today after hearing about the lathi charge on students by the cops he called for a press meet in which he strongly condemned the act.

Simbu said that he is first a human being, then a Tamil and only then an Indian. As a Tamil "I am proud of the culture and cannot take it lying down when students are beaten for upholding it". Simbu has announced a demonstration at 5 pm tomorrow against the Central Government by wearing a black dress and standing for ten minutes in front of his house. He has dared the cops to take action against him. He has also asked others to silently wear black and stand in front of their houses.
