Mani Ratnam's true blue multistarrer 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' is more than half complete and if not for the Kollywood strike that started from March 16th it would have gone non-stop. Simbu and Vijay Sethupathi have many scenes together and the two stars are said to be eagerly waiting to collaborate on screen and also to bond on the sets.
'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' produced by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies has Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Arun Kumar, Arvind Swamy, Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Jayasudha and Prakash Raj in the cast. The film has music by A.R.Rahman, cinematography by Santhosh Shivan and A.Sreekhar Prasad taking care of the editing.
