Simran 'Alone'

Simran is not just making a comeback in Kollywood, but in the neighbouring Sandalwood too. The actress will be seen playing a police officer in a Kannada film, titled 'Alone'.

"It is not the regular role. I always like action genre and am happy that I have bagged one such film," says Simran, who will shoot for the movie later this month. Simran's last Kannada movie was Shivarajkumar-starrer 'Simhada Mari' in 1997.

"The makers of 'Alone' approached me and narrated the story. The role sounded appealing and agreed to be part of the project," Simran adds. In Tamil, she is part of 'Karaioram' and 'Trisha Illana Nayanthara'.
