Can you hear the roar? Well that's just the Audio of Singam2, after the blockbuster show in 2010, the music of the sequel is out in stores from June2. Devi Sri Prasad who composed for the original is back with some peppy numbers up his sleeve. Directed by Hari, the movie has Suriya, Hansika, Anushka, Vivek and Santhanam in the lead.

Puriyavillai

Singers : Swetha Mohan

A female solo is something very rare these days, and here is a song that has the ranting's of love from a girl, if you are up for some soothing melody then this might be it. The song shoots of with some harmoniously jiggles and then stacks up the swift techno beat. Through the song, Swetha's pitching is laudable as it goes well along with the tunes. Puriyavillai clicks fair enough to be one of the best from Singam2.

Vaale Vaale

Singers: Shankar Mahadevan

All the elements of a mass intro song are juxtaposed in this song and Vivekha has penned the rightful lyrics with a lot Tirunelveli connect. It's just another stroll in the park for Shankar Mahadevan, as the singer is known to have crooned a lot of hero worship songs and this is yet another. The song is nothing new in composition with a huge reminiscence factor, however on a second thought for such a commercial pot boiler movie, this will be an apt add on.

Acchamailey

Singers: DSP

A song that depicts the dutiful cop Duraisingam's personality and also what it means to be a Policeman. Vivekha has penned worthwhile lyrics that magnify the straits of a Policeman and the music is all vibrant and bashing to set the rightful arena. Devi Sri Prasad has sung this racy number which has a lot bass elements the traditional police tunes juxtaposed within. The first interlude is specifically cool and better than whats to follow. One for the masses.

Singam Dance

Singers: DSP, Babha Sehgal, Sharmila

Club and a raving party song, a typical experimentation from DSP's camp, that is high on octane energy and refuses to fizz out. Old horse is back in the town, Baba Sehgal's liveliness is intact and a diehard song for the masses. Sharmila's tenure is brief and creates ripples on the air. Overall a song that makes you shake a leg.

Vidhai Pola

Singers: Hariharan

Looks like Hari has rendered most of the songs around Duraisingam and his antics. Yet another song which is presuming motivational, and has elements of evolution that happens within. Hariharan is one singer who accustoms to the comfort chair easily, and this tuneful number is apt for this urban cool singer. Devi Sri Prasad's Telugu connect is heavily felt in this song.

Kannukuley

Singers:Javed Ali, Priya Himesh, Simon

An average song but to pass off its judgment this early would be not fair, as most of the commercial movies have their songs better onscreen. The song has nothing new to offer except for its racy beats and the percussion goes hardly noticeable. Priya Himesh can have her share of credit with shadowing the other singers, and the song as a whole gives a Tollywood feel from DSP.

Verdict: An album strictly for the masses targeting the masala aspect.
