Anuradha Sriram is one of the most loved playback singers in Tamil and South Indian film industry especially due to her versatility in handling various genres. Her most recent hits include "Madura Marikozhundhae" from 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' tuned by her mentor A.R. Rahman.

A lesser-known fact is that Anuradha Sriram first entered the Tamil film industry as a child actress and that too with Superstar Rajinikanth in 'Kaali' that released in the year 1980. She later was introduced as a singer by Rahman in the 1995 film 'Bombay' directed by Mani Ratnam.
