Singer S. Janaki is fine - Rumors squashed

There have been rumours circulated in a few Kerala media that thespian singer S. Janaki had passed away which sent Kollywood celebritites and thousands of her fans into a shock.  It has been confirmed by sources close to Janaki that the news is false and that she is in prime health.

S. Janaki who started her playback singing career way back in 1957 announced that she is retiring a few months back after enthralling millions of her worldwide fans for six decades. Apart from her inimitable voice the 80 year old most loved entertainer is known for her high sense of humour evidenced in many stage shows and public appearances.
