Actor Jayam Ravi (Ravi Mohan) is currently in the spotlight over reports of his rumored marriage to singer Kenisha. As the topic continues to trend, singer and TV personality Suchitra has released a bold video on her Instagram page addressing the controversy and strongly defending Kenisha.

In the video, Suchitra questions the backlash faced by the couple and especially criticizes the judgment directed at Kenisha. “What mistake did Jayam Ravi and Kenisha make?” she asks. “Has Ravi done something unheard of in the film industry? Others may hide such things — he is simply being open.”

She went on to say, “Kenisha deserves recognition. All women should be proud of her. So why is she being spoken down to?”

Taking a jab at Ravi’s estranged wife Aarthi, Suchitra said, “Someone has been crying for years over a broken marriage. But what right does an ex-wife have to speak against Kenisha?”

She also addressed criticism over Kenisha’s appearance in a music video. “Did she do anything different from what other artists like Andrea have done? Why target her now?”

Wrapping up her video, Suchitra sarcastically added, “Ravi may not have dropped ‘Jayam’ from his name — but maybe that name holds more meaning for others.”

Her comments have since gone viral, sparking a new wave of debate online over the ongoing personal drama involving Jayam Ravi, Aarthi, and Kenisha.
