Director Siruthai Siva is teaming up for the second time with Ajith in Vedhalam` after their blockbuster Veeram` and the director has atlast opened up about the film which was hitherto kept under wraps ever since filming began.

Siva stated that the Thala is to appear in a never before attempted role in Vedhalam` and his character has many shades that will not only delight his mass fans but also the general audiences who will love his power packed performance. The film which has an already chartbusting music by Anirudh is being planned for release on the 5th of November with a top notch cast supporting Thala comprising of Shruti Haasan, Lakshmi Menon, Ashwin Kakkamanu, Soori, Thambi Ramaiya, Rahul Dev and Mottai Rajendran.
