It is wrong to say ‘Amma’ (mother) role is also imported in the case of South Indian actress Sithara. Known for her serene and beautiful looks Sithara is known to Kannada audience from 1994 ‘Halunda Thavaru’. She acted as heroine in over 20 films in Kannada such as Ganeshana Galate, Deera Sumangali, Shivaleele, Betegara, Bangarada Kalasha, Kavya, Karulina Kudi, Bangarada Mane, Muddina Aliya, Hettavala Koogu etc. After a decade she came back to Kannada cinema from ‘Nanu Nanna Kanasu’. She had quite a good films in her come back. She is now in the title role of ‘Amma I Love You’ a remake of Tamil film ‘Pichchakaran’ happens to be the 51st film of Dwarakish Chitra.
 
‘Amma I Love You’ went on the floors recently in KM Chaitanya direction. Chiranjeevi Sarja is playing the lead role. Two days shoot was also held for the film. In Udupi, Mangaluru further shoot is planned. Kari Subbu, Prashanth and others are in the cast. Gurukiran scores music for this ‘Amma I Love You’.
