The Production No. 2 of Light House Cine Magic banner was launched on Saturday at Hyderabad's Ramanaidu Studios with a puja ceremony. Siva Kantamaneni is the hero of the project. To be directed by Sajeev Megoti, this one is produced by G Rambabu Yadav, R Venkateswara Rao, KS Sankara Rao, and V Krishna Rao. Nandita Swetha, Raashi, K Ashok Kumar and Srinivasa Reddy play key roles.

During the launch event, the first shot was filmed on the hero, Nandita Swetha and Raashi. If Vasavi Group's Vijay Kumar switched on the camera, Ashok Kumar gave the clap. Chandra Siddhartha directed it. Prominent producer C Kalyan, and Posani Krishna Murali attended the event as guests.

Speaking on the occasion, Siva Kantamaneni said, "Akkadokaduntadu was the first film on our banner. The current project is a family entertainer. It's also a suspense thriller wherein me and Raashi garu are playing lead roles. Nandita Swetha and Srinivasa Reddy garu have other lead roles. The director has previously made films in Kannada and Telugu. The plan is to complete the shoot in two schedules. The first schedule will go on for 25 days. The next one will start after a gap of 15 days. We have completed recording four of the five songs."

Raashi said, "I am glad to be coming in front of the camera after a long gap with a very good role. I am playing a bold and independent woman in the movie. I have got a nice role after a long time. Nandita Swetha is playing my daughter. I am working with Annapurnamma garu after several years."

Annapurnamma said, "Like the name of the banner, our film is going to be magnificent. I am playing a strong role as the mother to Raashi."

Nandita Swetha said, "I entered the Telugu film industry with a strong role a few years ago. I have consistently chosen performance oriented roles. I am playing a strong role once again in this movie. Lucky is the name of my character. Since I will be working with very good actors, I am hoping to learn a lot."

Director Sanjeev Megoti said, "I did films in Telugu several years ago. I then moved to Sandalwood. I have been a busy screenplay writer, too. My latest film has got a meaty story. As per the story, we needed a hero who is middle-aged. Happily, we have got on board an ensemble cast. Raashi plays a peaceful character. Siva Kantamaneni will be seen in the opposite kind of character. Nandita Swetha represents the best traits of the two. The first schedule will be shot in Hyderabad. The second one will be shot in Vizag."

Producer R Venkateswara Rao said, "We okayed this project after listening to several stories. There is no place for obscenities, vulgarity in the movie. We are glad to have teamed up with Siva Kantamaneni once again."

Rambabu Yadav said, "We got together to produce the movie only because of the script. We are confident about the writing department. Our endeavour is to make a family entertainer. We hope that the audience will bless our movie as they did the first one."

Music director Sudhakar Mario said, "I have teamed up with Yasaswini Gunnu for the movie's music. I did keyboard playing for the director's previous movies. I thank the makers for this opportunity."

Dialogue writer Anjan said, "I have penned dialogues for a number of mega TV serials. I have always loved writing for movies. A good story, combined with good dialogues, would be great. This is a proper commercial story."
