The announcement that Ilayathalapathy' Vijay's much anticipated fantasy entertainer Puli' will hit the screens on October 1 as contrary to reports suggesting that the Chimbudevan directed film would release on September 17 Vinayakar Chathurthi weekend, has helped many films that were long waiting for a proper release time to cash in on the fresh window.
Yesterday it was confirmed that G.V.Prakash-Anandhi-Manisha Yadhav starrer Trisha Illana Nayanthara' would release on the weekend starting September 17. Now Indiaglitz has exclusive information from reliable sources suggesting that Ponram directed Rajini Murugan' starring Sivakarthikeyan and Keerthy Suresh will also release on September 17.
With back to back super hits Sivakarthikeyan is hot in trade and the release of his film is expected to get a huge opening and in the absence of Puli', this will definitely be the biggie releasing in that weekend. If the film releases on the long weekend starting September 17 the film has all possibilities of emerging a winner.
