The legal battle over the ownership of legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan’s Annai Illam took a new turn today, with reports stating that actor Prabhu’s side refused the judge’s proposal regarding the case.
The dispute arose when the court ordered the confiscation of Sivaji Ganesan’s Annai Illam due to a loan taken by Dushyant, the son of Sivaji’s eldest son, Ramkumar. In response, Prabhu filed a petition arguing that the property rightfully belongs to him and should not be seized for a loan taken by Ramkumar’s family.
During today’s hearing, the judge reportedly suggested that since Ramkumar is Prabhu’s brother, he could consider settling the loan to resolve the issue amicably. However, Prabhu’s side declined, stating that Ramkumar had taken multiple loans and that it was unfair to confiscate a house worth ₹150 crore for a ₹3 crore debt.
Following this, the court has adjourned the case, with further proceedings expected soon.
