Sivakarthikeyan to replace Dulquer Salman in his first remake film?

We had reported earlier that the latest Malayalam super hit 'Charlie' is going to be remade in Tamil by the Pramod Films banner. The cast and crew members of the film are being finalized currently.
Now it is being rumored that Sivakarthikeyan is the top contender to reprise the male lead role played by Dulquer Salman in the original while Parvathy who acted as the female lead in the original is expected to be retained in Tamil also.
This information is based on speculations doing rounds in Kollywood circles and we will have to wait for an official confirmation before taking any conclusion.
