Sivakarthikeyan's character in 'Kanaa' revealed

Sivakarthikeyan is currently busy shooting simultaneously for director M. Rajesh's romantic comedy 'SK13' and the SciFi thriller 'SK14' directed by Ravikumar. Meanwhile, the leading Kollywood hero is also debuting as a producer with 'Kaana' which is releasing on December 21st.
'Kanaa' is one of the first films in Indian cinema to deal with women's cricket with Aishwarya Rajesh playing a village girl who aspires to play for India. The film is directed by Arunraja Kamaraj a college buddy of Sivakarthikeyan with their other friends Dibu Ninan Thomas as music director and Darshan as the hero. Sivakarthikeyan himself is playing a powerful character that was revealed in the teaser.
It is now officially confirmed that Sivakarthikeyan's character name in 'Kanaa' is Nelson Dilipkumar and it is through him that the heroine Aishwarya Rajesh finds inspiration to chase her dreams. Sathyaraj plays a farmer and the heroine's father who does everything in his power to support his daughter's ambition.
