Sivakarthikeyan's kindness extends to Cuddalore

Chennai and Cuddalore are the worst affected regions of the incessant rains that lashed out the Tamil Nadu state in the past two weeks. The government and many service minded organisations and individuals joined hands for the relief and rehabilitation of poor victims of rain who are stranded without basic amenities.

Kollywood celebrities also extended a helping hand to the people affected by heavy rains. Fan clubs of actors Rajinikanth, Vijay and Vishal could be seen distributing food and financial aid to people affected by rain. Actor-politician Sarathkumar got into the field and personally helped the poor people along with members of his party and supporters. Actor Santhanam has reportedly donated for the flood relief measures taking place in Cuddalore district

Now young and fast rising star Siva Karthikeyan has joined this list of humane film industry members. The 'Kaakki Sattai' star has sponsored 1,100 blankets to the people of Cuddalore who are made to sleep in makeshift shelter as they have lost their houses to the wrath of rain gods.

A commendable gesture indeed.
