Sivakarthikeyan's ' Velaikkaran' directed by Mohan Raja and produced by 24AM Studios riding on the strong content has taken a highly impressive 29 Crores collection at the four day holiday Christmas weekend in Tamil Nadu.
'Velaikkaran' has raked up Rupees 3.82 Crores in Chennai City, 7.85 Crores in Chengalput area, 4.94 Cr. from Coimbatore, 3.18Cr. from Tiruchy-Thanjavur and the rest from the other territories. Further Kerala has brought in 65Lakhs, Karnataka 1.54 Cr.and the overseas has pulled in another 7Crores as well which takes the overall tally to 40 Crores in four days. The film is expected to continue its good streak for the next New Year four day holiday weekend too and will scale the super hit status.
