Following the success of Namma Veetu Pillai, fans of Sivakarthikeyan are eagerly looking forward to his upcoming projects, one of which is Hero, directed by P.S. Mithran of Irumbu Thirai fame.

The makers have taken to Twitter to announce that the trailer of Hero will be releasing on December 13 at 8 am in Chennai's Sathyam Cinemas. It was earlier reported that Bollywood actor Abhay Deol will be playing the antagonist in the film. Kalyani Priyadarshan, who had been roped in to play the female lead, will be making her maiden venture in Tamil with Hero.

Produced by KJR Studios, the distributors of Ajith's Viswasam, Hero has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The movie will hit the screens across the world on December 20.
