Sachin Tendulkar in Sivakarthikeyan's 'Kanaa'

Sivakarthikeyan's debut film 'Kanaa' that is releasing on December 21st also has him in a pivotal role as Nelson Dilipkumar. The story that revolves around women's cricket is directed by Arunraja Kamaraj and has Aishwarya Rajesh as the protagonist with Darshan and Sathyaraj playing important characters.
Director Arunraja Kamaraj has stated in an interview that 'Kanaa' has Sachin Tendulkar in it, but has explained that it is not the legendary cricketing god himself but two characters in the film have been named after him. Sowrimuthu plays Sachin while Antony Bhagyaraj plays Tendulkar and apparently their roles are comical.
