Massive! Sivakarthikeyan vs Vijay Sethupathi vs Dhanush on Christmas now

It is going to be a massive battle on Christmas weekend as already four films Vijay Sethupathi's 'Seethakathi' (December 20th) and Jayam Ravi's 'Adanga Maru', 'Dhanush's 'Maari 2' and Vishnu Vishal's 'Silukkuvarpatti Singam' confirmed their releases on December 21st. Trade analysts have already been lamenting that all these big star films cannot get the desired theater count which could work negatively for the overall business as well.
Now out of the blue Sivakarthikeyan has also made the announcement that his first production venture 'Kanaa' directed by Arunraja Kamaraj and starring Aishwarya Rajesh, Sathyaraj and Darshan will hit the screens on December 21st as well. Sivakarthikeyan also plays an extended cameo in the film and now it has become a five way contest at the box office. More importantly its going to be a Vijay Sethupathi vs Sivakarthikeyan vs Dhanush battle which should delight fans for sure but tomorrow's urgent meeting at the Producers Council could change the equation. Lets wait and watch.
