Sivakarthikeyan and Karthi are all-rounders in the Tamil industry who excel in humour, emotions, singing, dancing and whatnot. The two are prominent stars in Kollywood and their films clash at the box office now and then. SK and Karthi's movies have clashed two times in the past.

Now, the latest reports suggest that they are set to lock horns once again at the box office. Sivakarthikeyan is currently shooting for his upcoming film 'Maaveeran' directed by the National Award-winner Madonne Ashwin and Karthi is working on his next 'Japan' directed by highly acclaimed maker Raju Murugan.

Sources say that the two movies will clash at the box office on June 29. It is worth mentioning that Sivakarthikeyan starrer 'Hero' and Karthi starrer 'Thambi' were released on the same date in 2019. Last year, Sivakarthikeyan's rom-com entertainer 'Prince' and Karthi's espionage thriller 'Sardar' were released on the same date during Diwali.

Both Maaveeran and Japan are among the most talked about films of their career. While SK plays a cartoonist in the former, Karthi is set to spot multiple looks in Japan. On the work front, Sivakarthikeyan has a new film under Kamal Haasan production and Rajkumar Periasamy while Karthi has 'Ponniyin Selvan 2', 'Kaithi 2' and 'Sardar 2'.
