Sivakarthikeyan's 'Velaikkaran' new theatrical release date is here

Producer RD Raja of 24AM Studios announced that his second production venture and the most anticipated film of the year 'Velaikkaran' will be hitting the screens on September 29, 2017 for the Aayudha Pooja festival holidays. However now the makers have postponed the release date of the film directed by Mohan Raja with Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara in the lead roles. 

The film will be hitting the screens on December 22, 2017 for the Christmas festival weekend. The reason for this postponement has been explained in the official press statement from 24AM Studios which is given below.
