Actor Siva Karthikeyan was last seen on screen in the M Rajesh directorial Mr Local co-starring Nayanthara and the movie was a flop at the box office, following the actor's previous failure Seemaraja. Next the actor is working simultaneously in two movies.

Siva Karthikeyan is now a part of PS Mithran directorial Hero as well as Pandiraj directorial SK16, and it was recently rumoured that the Pandiraj directorial has been titled as Enga Veettu Pillai after the MGR starrer classic blockbuster. However the production house Vijaya Productions had constantly been refusing that the title had not been given to anyone.

Now after the constant rumours, Vijaya Productions has issued a statement where they have mentioned that the title rights of all their production ventures including MGR starrer Enga Veetu Pillai are with them and that they have not been sold to anyone else. They added that before few years they had given a letter establishing the ownership of the rights for the titles to all the unions and that the same condition exists even now. Thus it has been clarified that SK16 has not been named as Enga Veetu Pillai.
