Sivakarthikeyan to lock horns with Vikram & Mahesh Babu

24AM Studios R.D. Raja is one of the rare producers in Tamil cinema who locks the release date of his films on the day the projects are announced. The Sivakarthikeyan-Fahadh Fazil-Nayanthara starrer 'Velaikaaran' directed by Mohan Raja is set to be released on the 29th of September for the long Ayudha Pooja weekend.

Looks like 'Velaikaaran' cannot go it solo on the festive occasion as the Mahesh Babu-ARM thriller 'Spyder' has also locked September 27th. It could even turn out to be a triple threat match at the box office as Vikram-Tamannaah's 'Sketch' too is in the fray for the same weekend. However this situation is what the movie fan loves as he will get a variety fare to celebrate.
