Sivakarthikeyan and Vignesh Shivan are long-time friends and several months back it was announced that they would combine for a new movie 'SK17' produced by Lyca Productions. The time has gone by but no hint of when the project will begin came forth and now we learn from reliable sources that the project is in for a major change.

According to our sources, Lyca Productions has withdrawn from 'SK17' and instead KJR Studios are likely to take over. The production house is already bankrolling Sivakarthikeyan's 'Hero' directed by P.S. Mithran and the untitled science fiction film directed by Ravikumar. Now if the talks go through then the Siva-Vikki project would be their third venture with the family-friendly hero. Stay tuned for updates.
