After a relatively underwhelming start at the box-office on July 30 (when 'Thimmarusu' and 'MAD', both of which were remakes hit the screens), six more movies are set to arrive at the cinemas this Friday (August 6). Each of them is a small movie, with 'SR Kalyanamandampam' being the biggest of the releases.

'SR Kalyanamandampam', starring Kiran Abbavaram and Priyanka Jawalkar as the lead pair, has Sai Kumar as the hero's father. The makers are confident that it will draw the young crowds to the theatres.

'Mugguru Monagallu', a comedy entertainer, stars Srinivas Reddy, Dheekshith Shetty and Vennela Ramarao as differently-abled persons. The film is a buddy comedy with a difference.

'Merise Merise', starring Dinesh Tej and Swetha Awasthi, is a romantic-comedy. The film is also touted to be distinct in its approach to issues concerning today's youth.

'MAD', which stands for 'Marriage And Divorce', features newcomers and tells the tale of two couples who get married and seek divorce.

'Ksheera Sagara Madhanam' and 'Ippudu Kaaka Inkeppudu' are also targeted at the young audience segment. They have romance at their core.
