Director turned actor SJ Suryah has been choosing unique roles and scripts in the ongoing phase of his career, and this was displayed with the variety in Iraivi, Spyder and Mersal and the actor's next release Monster will have him in a humorous character.

Now, the latest buzz is that SJ Suryah has been approached to play the lead in one of the upcoming production ventures of director Pa Ranjith's Neelam Productions, and this movie will be directed by a debutant. An official announcement is expected soon on this buzz. Pa Ranjith has on the other hand completed his second production Irandam Ulaga Porin Kadaisi Gundu.

SJ Suryah's two movies Nenjam Marappathillai directed by Selvaraghavan and Iravaakaalam directed by Maya maker Ashwin Saravanan are yet to find theatrical release, and on the other hand, the actor is getting interesting projects as well. Monster directed by Nelson Venkatesan is all set to release on May 17.
