These films line up for the Pongal race

Pongal is not only the time for saccharine sugarcanes, but also festive films. And this Pongal, we had a lot of films riding on to compete at the fesive day like ‘Sketch’, ‘Thaana Serndha Koottam’, ‘Gulaebhagavali’, ‘Kalakalappu 2’, ‘Madura Veeran’, ‘Mannar Vagera’, ‘Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren’.
Oh the delight for movie buffs! But we also ought to consider theatre availabilities- and that is what the smart folks behind some of these movies thought about and decided to walk out of the Pongal race. So only Surya’s ‘Thaana Serndha Koottam’, Vikram’s ‘Sketch’ and Prabhu Deva’s ‘Gulaebhagavali’ are confirmed to hit the screens on Pongal.
