Slew of awards for 'Poo'

Tamizhchelvan's short story 'Veyyilodu Poi' was made into a film by director Sasi as 'Poo'. The film produced by Moser Baer is being critically acclaimed from numerous quarters.

'Poo' has won the Best Tamil Film Award instituted by Makkal TV and a proud Moser Baer will collect the award. Moreover, Vikatan has honored 'Poo' by awarding the film in various capacities including Best Actress (debutante Parvathy), Best Supporting Actor (Ramu – who played Pennakaran in the film), Best Story (Tamizhchelvan), and Best Producer Dhananjayan (Moser Baer).

Jaya TV too will be honoring Moser Baer as Best Producer for the film. The television channel has also chosen debutant S. S. Kumaran as the Best Music Director.

Moser Baer has won the award for Best Producer (Poo) at the Kalaignar TV Popular Awards.

'Poo' that weaved the tale of a woman's unending love for the man she loves participated in the Chennai Film Festival and has been sent for screening at the India International Film Festival which is to be held in Los Angeles.
